Spectacular coastal towns on the northern fjords, such as Blonduos and Hofsos, can be reached in 40 minutes, for example. The capital of north Iceland, Akureyri, is just over an hour away, from which you can embark on plenty of nature adventures and continue onto sites such as the Lake Myvatn area.

Family and other large groups will suit the more spacious family rooms, which are 12 sqm and have a double and a bunk bed.
