ATV on the Reykjanes Peninsula | 2-Day Tour

ATV on the Reykjanes Peninsula | 2-Day Tour
Although the Reykjanes Peninsula is best known for its lava landscapes, you'll also go through fields and by beautiful coastline.
The lava landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula look like they belong to another planet.
The moss that covers the lava of Reykjanes is very delicate, so your ATV needs to stay on the designated roads and tracks.
The lava fields across Reykjanes largely came from two eruptions, both over a millennium old.
Iceland's landscapes are covered in snow for much of winter, and ATVs can drive across them with ease.
This creeping moss covers much of Iceland's landscapes, including most of Reykjanes.

Enjoy a two-day ATV adventure on the Reykjanes Peninsula. This tour should not be missed by those seeking exhilaration and volcanic landscapes.

The Reykjanes Peninsula offers numerous ATV paths with interesting sightseeing points, mind-blowing panorama views from various mountaintops, and even cultural stops.

Your guides are all highly experienced in quad-biking; during their own free time, they go out on their own ATV’s to constantly discover new paths. They know the area well, so it doesn’t matter if you are new to the ATV world or experienced, they will tailor the itinerary around you.

Over this amazing two-day adventure, you'll take a journey around amazing lunar landscapes, with fields of mossy lava, black sandy beaches, volcanoes, geothermal areas and incredible coastlines.

You will stay overnight in a lovely hotel, which includes breakfast.

This could not be further from the average bus tour; most of the tracks you will go down are not reachable even by super jeep. While this can mean some parts of the route are tricky and technical, you are in safe hands and will not be asked to do anything you are uncomfortable with.

Each day you’ll drive 6 to 7 hours, but it’s totally up to you and your group.

One of the highlights of this tour comes when you ride alongside the one hundred craters of the Eldvorp volcano system (eruptions from which formed the Blue Lagoon's lava field in 1211-1240). Eldvorp is 10 kilometres long and has several big craters with intensive geothermal activity seething inside them.

As for the rest of the highlights, you will have to book the tour and see them yourself! Do note, however, that you are welcome to go to the Blue Lagoon on the first day, but admission is not included in the price and you must book in advance.

Don't miss this two-day ATV adventure. Check booking availability now, by choosing a date.
