Icelandic Bachelor's Weekend | ATVs, Burgers, Clay Pigeon Shooting

Icelandic Bachelor's Weekend | ATVs, Burgers, Clay Pigeon Shooting
ATVs stands for 'All Terrain Vehicles', requiring riders to face forward, controlling acceleration with the throttle.
You'll work up a sweat riding your ATV, but that's nothing compared to your wedding night.
Enjoying a post-ATV ride with a couple of drinks is the best way to enjoy the nights before the wedding.
Riding an ATV during the summer in Iceland is an entirely different experience to doing it in the winter.
Reykjavík is a fantastic place to indulge in a little nightlife.
The ATVs are equip with large wheels, making them perfect for tackling difficult terrain.

Ready yourself for your wedding day with this unforgettable tour package designed specifically for Bachelor parties, partaking in such activities as ATV riding, dining and clay pigeon shooting. This is a brilliant opportunity for groups of travellers looking to experience some of the best activities that Iceland has to offer before tying the knot.

You will make your way to the Safari Quads base camp, only fifteen minutes drive from Reykjavik. Alternatively, you can be picked up from your accommodation in the city, though this is provided at extra cost.

Once you arrive at the base, your experienced and knowledgeable ATV guide will provide you with warm overalls, a helmet and a safety briefing. They will also proceed to give a rundown on the basic of Quad Biking, helping any beginners to the sport feel comfortable with the activity ahead.  When everyone is ready, its time to start zooming across the gorgeous Reykjanes Peninsula.

You’ll begin by climbing not one, but two mountains, on your fully-equipped ATV. Hafrafell and Úlfarsfell mountains, on the edge of the highlands, offer a spectacular view of the capital as well as the peaks and glaciers of the interior in good weather.

After you’ve worked up a sweat, you’ll stop for hamburgers at one of the best joints in Iceland - Tommy’s Burgers. It’s a tiny place located right on the pier, so you can look out toward the harbour as you eat. It’s simple food, burgers and fries, but one of the most popular by locals and visitors alike.

Then, you’ll try your hand at shooting clay pigeons. Each person will get 10 tries. Finally, you’ll celebrate the day with an Icelandic beer. After that, the night belongs to you. You can take in a show or visit the clubs. Celebrate your way!
