Welcome to our beautiful farm. It is located only 20 minutes outside of Reykjavík, in the charming countryside. Here we offer guests to come and ride the Icelandic horse and have a home-cooked meal with the farmer and his family.

Every tour starts with a riding lesson where guests are introduced to the Icelandic horse, the history of the horse and get to know the basics of riding. The lesson starts with the teacher showing you the basics of how you control a horse once that is completed you will receive your own horse and you start riding under guidance from the riding teacher. Don't worry, our horses are calm and friendly to inexperienced riders, so you will be in good hands.

Once everyone in our group is feeling comfortable with the horse we take a riding tour along a beautiful river that is in our valley. The ride is off the beaten track so guests will have a unique opportunity to explore the Icelandic nature from the horse.  At one point we will have a break where people can recuperate a bit and enjoy the stillness and, of course, take pictures of their furry co-travellers.

Once we are back at the farm, we go into the main house and have home cooked lunch which consists of lamb roast, potatoes and salat. Vegetarian options are available, but please let us know in advance. During lunch, the group gets to know each other a bit better and share their experiences in Iceland along with discussions with the local farmer who can give you plenty of ideas and good advice about what to do and where to go in Iceland.

If you want to get to know Iceland in an authentic way than this is it!  We look forward to having you at our farm.
