After we pick you up from your accommodation in Reykjavík, we will drive to one of the oldest natural pools in Iceland, the Secret Lagoon. Less crowded than the Blue Lagoon, the Secret Lagoon offers a more private experience at a much more affordable price. It's been owned by the same Icelandic family for years, and it's a great place to meet locals.

After a relaxing bath, we will enjoy dinner at one of the best Icelandic restaurants, Þrastalundur. Ideally located on a river with spectacular views over the mountains, the restaurant serves traditional Icelandic dishes, such as lamb soup or skyr, for a great culinary experience. The restaurant also caters to special dietary restrictions—make sure to let us know when you book the tour.

Relaxed and well fed, we will go back to our 4x4 jeep and start our hunt for the Aurora Borealis, far away from the city's light pollution.

You will learn more about this natural phenomenon as you stare at the skies waiting for the lights to start dancing. Do keep in mind, though, that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and as such can be tricky to predict and never guaranteed. They depend on several factors, such as cloud coverage, solar activity, and general weather conditions.
