The Magical Auroras | Northern Lights Minibus Tour (Small Groups)

Going hunting for the Northern Lights together in Iceland can be a lot of fun.
Here you see the Northern Lights dancing above a rugged lava field in Iceland.
When the earth is covered with snow, the green of the Northern Lights becomes all the more lucid.
Iceland's Aurora is particularly stunning when seen reflected in the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon.
The Northern Lights not only come in green but many colours, and they are not stationary but dance wildly across Iceland's night sky.
The Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon on the South Coast of Iceland is part of Skaftafell Nature Reserve and one of the most scenic backdrops for Northern Lights gazing.

Escape the city's light pollution with this incredible Northern Lights Hunting trip, chasing clear and starry night skies by minibus. This is the perfect tour opportunity for travellers desperate to kick seeing the Northern Lights off of their bucket list and for those looking to see the Auroras untarnished by the city's light.

The Northern Lights only appear during the dark winter months in Iceland, a result of atmospheric particles and disruptive solar winds. The outcome is a fantastic display of colourful spirals that seem to dance across the night sky in a truly out of this world experience.

More often than not, the Northern Lights first appear as a thin ribbon light green waves across the night sky. This is only one form in which they appear, however. Often, the Auroras will appear in dazzling shades of pink, green, blue, yellow and red.

There is, however, no guaranteeing exactly where, when and how the Northern Lights might appear, hence the "hunting" aspect of this tour. Your professional Northern Lights guide will make a decision on the day as to where exactly you will be looking—by going on a tour with a certified operator, you greatly increase your chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Guides can also offer handy scientific explanations and even photography tips.

As already mentioned, there is no knowing exactly when the Northern Lights will appear. If you are unlucky this time around, another excursion will be planned to fit in with your availability. Tours do not leave if the conditions are not suitable (i.e. cloud cover, etc).

Throughout the duration of this tour, you will be travelling by minibus. This ensures a more personalised tour experience by limiting it to small group sizes. With such intimacy, this is bound to be an experience you'll never forget.

Hurry now and you too can hunt down the incredible Northern Lights with this exciting minibus tour. Check availability by choosing a date.
