Come along on this combination tour where you'll get to experience Icelandic culinary as well as the natural phenomena that is the Northern Lights. Those wanting to immerse themselves in both Icelandic culture and nature should not let this opportunity pass them by.

Make your way to the restaurant RIO Reykjavík by the Old Harbour, for a delicious meal of either salmon, cod or nut steak, as well as a side dish of your choice.

Once you've finished with your dinner, it is time to head down to the harbour to collect your cruise tickets. The crew will then greet you at the visitor centre, located only a bit further down the road. There, you can watch a time-lapse video of the Northern Lights and learn everything about the Auroras and how they form in the night sky.

You will then step onboard your vessel for the evening, put on warm overalls and prepare for an experience of a lifetime, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Stay inside heated indoor cabin and wait for the crew's cue, or wait outside in the fresh air and help the spotters catch the first sighting of the evening.

When the Northern Lights make an appearance, it will be like the sky is on fire, as the Auroras dance with their green hues, continually changing direction. It is a sight like no other and a truly unique experience you'll cherish forever!

The Northern Lights are a natural wonder, and so sightings cannot be guaranteed. But don't worry. If you don't see any Auroras on your tour, you can come back another night and try again for free! So make sure to book early during your stay, just in case nature isn't cooperating.
