Your driver will pick you up in the capital of Reykjavík, and head straight out to Gullfoss waterfall along the Golden Circle Route. Once there, you can buy some snacks and a packed lunch, before heading up to Langjökull glacier for the snowmobile part of your tour.

When you arrive a the snowmobile base, you will be provided with all the necessary gear; overalls, helmet, balaclava and gloves. Everybody must sign a confirmation of own-liability, and listen to a safety briefing, before heading out for the tour. Your well being is paramount, and everyone should be properly prepared.

After all the necessary safety procedures, your 1-hour snowmobile tour begins! During the summer months, you will be snowmobiling directly on the glacier ice, with rivulets of water all around you. The black mud hills and the blue-ice crevasses make the glacier landscape a unique and stunning sight.

During the winter months, the whole ice cap is covered in snow, so you will zoom across the landscape with ease and fun! If you are lucky, there will be plenty of fresh powder to plough through.

When you come back down, there is no better way to get some warmth back in your body than going to a natural geothermal pool. Your next stop is therefore at the Secret Lagoon, where you can float around in the 38-40°C warm water and let all your worries drift away.

This natural geothermal pool was once the main bathing spot for the neighbouring farms and villages, and even once used to be the main spot for swimming lessons. After you feel warm and cosy, it is time to hop back aboard your transportation and head back to Reykjavík City.
