If you want to see all the best Iceland has to offer in one day, then South Coast tour with stop at the Viking house for a dinner is the tour! This tour is what Iceland is all about. Vikings, waterfalls, authentic food, drinks, glaciers, black volcanic beaches, trolls and elves. This tour has it all. Most of Icelands glaciers are located on the South Coast along with most of Icelands biggest volcanoes. South Coast is where the first settler stepped on land.

Your awesome guide will pick you up either from your accommodation in Reykjavik or closest bus stop. If you are located in the centre of Reykjavik, we might have to ask you to go to the next bus stop for pickup. Pickup is between 10:30 and 11:00. Seljalandsfoss waterfall is the first stop. The water running in this waterfall comes from the glacier sitting on top of the volcano that erupted in 2010. The one that made Iceland popular. There is a walking trail that leads behind it, so in summar and autumn, you can walk behind the waterfall.

A short drive further to the east, you will visit what is our staff favourite waterfall, Skógafoss waterfall. Have you ever pictured the perfect waterfall in your mind? This one comes probably the closest to that one. It is absolutely magical.

Just next to Skógafoss waterfall, is an outlet glacier from Icelands 4th largest glacier. The name of it is Sólheimajökull glacier. Icelands most powerful volcano lies underneath there. You get the chance to walk all the way up to the glacier and touch it.

Last stop before heading back is the one and only Black sand beach, or Reynisfjara beach as we call it in Iceland. It got famous after being shot in some movies and tv shows. Probably most famous one is Game of thrones. What makes it so special is the nature all around it. Glacier, island, troll in the ocean, basaltic rocks in the mountain in the beach and of course Katla volcano.

On the way back, a stop at the Viking house will be made for dinner. This Viking house is real! It looks ecactly like a Viking house. One of the owners will serve you Viking dinner, dressed in a Viking costume. You get a Viking tasting plate with trout, goose, salmon and lamb on it. After that you have an option to try shark and dried fish jerky with a shot of Black Death. For dinner you get latest catch of the day. What a perfect way to end this day.
