Join this exciting and intimate Minibus tour exploring the majestic waterfalls and black sand beaches of South Iceland. This is a fantastic tour opportunity for those travellers looking to experience the natural attractions of the South without compromising their experience in an overly large tour group.

You will begin this tour by being picked up from your designated meeting point in Reykjavík and then driven down along the South Coast. The first stop you will make is the natural gem, Seljalandsfoss waterfall, one of Iceland's most popular and photographed features.

At Seljalandsfoss, visitors can actually walk directly behind the cascading water, following a narrow and slippery path to gain a whole new perspective of the waterfall. Aside from the 60m of falling water, the surrounding area is characterised by stunning farmlands and towering cliff faces.

Your next stop is at Skógafoss, a larger and more powerful waterfall where visitors can walk right up to the point the water hits the ground. This provides staggering photographic opportunities, and rainbows will often form in the ever-present mist. According to folklore, an ancient treasure chest was once hidden behind the waterfall by a troll. Today, visitors can look upon the waterfall either from the feature's base or from atop the staircase that climbs up beside it.

You will next head to Dyrhólaey, a sublime and gorgeous location which boasts panoramic views of the surrounding area. Aside from the farmlands and rugged coastlines, you will be able to look upon distant mountainscapes and creeping glaciers, as well as the rugged, jet-black coastline below. In the summertime, it is even possible to see Puffins nesting within the cliff face.

You will make your final stop of the day at Reynisfjara, Iceland's most famous black sand beach. Here, you will look upon distinctive volcanic pebbles, basalt columns, rolling Atlantic waves and huge rock stacks, protruding from the ocean. Make sure not to get too close, however, ads Reynisfjara is infamous for its unpredictable waves and currents. After your time at the beach is over, you will make the scenic return journey back to Iceland's capital.

So what are you waiting for? Hurry now and you too can experience the incredible waterfalls, black sand beaches and panoramic vistas of the South Coast with this personal Minibus tour. Check availability by choosing a date.
