Zipline Adventure in South Iceland from Reykjavik

A path leads behind the waterfall Seljalandsfoss, which allows you to have a very interesting perspective.
Skógafoss is a sixty-metre tall, twenty-metre wide waterfall on the South Coast.
Zipline over rivers, rolling hills and verdant hills in South Iceland.
The mighty Skógafoss is breathtaking even from a distance.
According to legends, there is a trove of a giant's treasure in a hidden cave behind the cascade of Skógafoss.
The zipline in South Iceland shoots over a picturesque waterfall.

Enjoy this eye-popping, adrenaline-fuelled zipline adventure and soar through the air like an eagle over the South Coast of Iceland. This great opportunity is combined with visits to some of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls to create a complete, unforgettable experience.

After being picked up in Reykjavík and driven south, your first stop will be Skógafoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s largest and most powerful waterfalls. The 20-metre-wide cascade thunders down over 60 metres, and you can walk all the way up to the bottom and feel its intense spray on your face.

You can also climb up a set of steps to an observation deck at the top of the waterfall to get some amazing pictures from an unexpected angle.

You haven’t seen a waterfall properly, however, until you’re up in the sky dangling over one  and hurtling down a zip line.

Ziplining is a sensational way to get a bird’s-eye view of Iceland’s scenery—lush, green hillsides, trickling streams and the aforementioned roaring waterfall. While it’s certainly a thrill to fly through the air, it’s also completely safe; the equipment has been installed by professionals and certified to pass the strictest EU standards.

After a thorough safety briefing, you'll take a short hike to the first platform where you sail out on the first line, a 235-metre long segment. From there you will take another light hike through picturesque Grafargil canyon to the next take-off point, a 135-metre stretch that takes you over Hundafoss waterfall.

The rush of zipping down these lines is enough to get your blood pumping but set against the wild backdrop of South Iceland, it is simply breathtaking. By the time you are finished, you are sure to be lightheaded from the fun and the views.

On our way back home, you will stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which is unusual in that you can actually take a footpath behind the cascade and feel the cool mist on your face. Having a walk around Seljalandsfoss is a delightful way to get close to nature and wind down after the thrill of the ziplines.
