Explore the natural beauty of the Icelandic Highlands and receive professional photographs to document your trip when you book this incredible guided excursion. Those eager to see some of Iceland's most impressive natural attractions away from the crowds should book this private tour now.

Your tour starts with collection at your accommodation in Reykjavik. You'll meet the professional guide and photographer who will lead the tour. This is a private tour, meaning it will just be you and your group — there's no need to wait for anyone else to join.

Booking a private tour gives you an excellent opportunity to get plenty of time with your guide, who will tell you more about the Highlands as you explore. You'll also be able to get the photographs that you want. After the tour, you'll receive up to 20 professionally edited pictures.

The Icelandic Highlands are a breathtaking expanse of unspoiled wilderness in the country's interior. This vast region is characterized by its dramatic landscapes, including towering mountains, glaciers, active volcanoes, vast lava fields, and sweeping plains.

During the tour, you'll travel in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon modified to tackle the rugged terrain of the Highlands.

Your first stop is Hjalparfoss waterfall. Located in the Thjorsardalur valley, this picturesque waterfall is formed by two rivers merging, creating a double cascade that plunges into a tranquil pool below. The waterfall is renowned for its striking beauty and serene surroundings, and your photographer will get some great shots of you here.

Next, it's time to visit the second waterfall of the day, Haifoss. Haifoss, meaning "High Waterfall" in Icelandic, is approximately 400 feet (122 meters) high. It's one of the tallest waterfalls in the country.

Haifoss cascades down a rugged and dramatic cliff in the Fossa River, creating a breathtaking spectacle of crashing water and mist.

You'll stop for lunch at the Highland Center Hrauneyjar before heading back into the heart of the Highlands, where you'll visit the last two sights on the tour's itinerary.

The Sigoldufoss waterfall is a hidden gem tucked away in the Icelandic Highlands. This enchanting waterfall in the Tungnaa River puts on a mesmerizing display and is surrounded by cliffs and vibrant greenery.

With a height of around 33 feet (10 meters), Sigoldufoss may not be the tallest waterfall in Iceland, but it has a secluded location and a tranquil atmosphere. The surrounding area has stunning hiking trails and panoramic views, making it another ideal setting for photography.

The tour's last stop is the Sigoldugljufur Canyon. The canyon stretches for just under a mile (about 1.5 kilometers) and reaches depths of up to 656 feet (200 meters), creating an awe-inspiring natural spectacle.

At the end of the tour, your guide will take you back to your accommodation in Reykjavik, where you can continue your adventures.

Take advantage of this incredible tour with a professional photographer, exploring the beautiful sights of the Highlands of Iceland. Check availability now by choosing a date.
