Witness one of the great wonders of the world. When the weather is right, and cosmic conditions are in our favour, join this tour and head out in search of the phenomena called Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights.

Avoiding the light pollution of the city, you will be driven towards the area where the chances of seeing the Northern Lights are the highest and on the way, your guides will tell you all there is to know about this arctic marvel.

The night might be long, so you will be offered some light refreshments of kleina (a traditional Icelandic twisted doughnut) and hot cocoa to keep you warm.

Please remember to dress according to season and weather. Wear plenty of warm layers and don't forget the hat and gloves.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and, sadly, sightings can not be guaranteed. At 17:00, after checking forecast and conditions, your guides decide whether or not they operate the tour and inform you of their decision immediately.

Should the northern lights not be seen on your tour, you will be offered to join another tour, free of charge. If you book a northern lights bus tour and conditions prevent your guides from running the tour for the duration of your stay in Iceland, you will, of course, receive a full refund.

The group size is always limited per bus to provide you with better service and a personal experience.

Don't miss out on this opportunity of seeing the Northern Lights in the perfect environment of comfort and care. Check availability by choosing a date.

Amazing evening searching for the lights. Picked up on time and remained on that coach, after several other hotel pick ups. Our guide as helpful and interesting - always interacting with all the guests. Wow it was cold so kept returning to sit on the coach. Guide told us when he saw the light forming, and it was amazing. Back at hotel approx. 1230. THANK YOU for an unforgettable trip.

Thanks to others’ reviews, I knew exactly what to expect. The big groups, the late night drop offs, the waiting in the cold for a bigger bus. But the reason I chose this company was because of all the reviews about their passion. Huenta was our guide and passion was on display. She was a pro at knowing where to look and where to go. Sure enough, what looked like a green streak turned out to be the best dancing Northern Lights display we could ever have hoped to see. It was very brief but very grand. Before and after the one minute show, we had about 30-45 minutes to catch the green haze in the back ground. Good enough time to not freeze although she said we would stay until everyone was satisfied with their photos. If you care to have a decent selfie, you need a tripod or a spot to rest your camera which will withstand strong winds. So glad we chose them! Thank you so much Huenta for being our passionate guide. It made me love it even more.

The tour is totally worth it! I really enjoyed it and I saw thing that I wouldn’t have been able to see without the tour. The timing is perfect, because even if it sounds too long, you don’t feel it, you are just amazed all the way long with the incredible landscapes and the sky - you can see how it changes every hour! The guide even stopped by a field with horses because someone told him that he would like to pet them during his stay, so he let us all get down with the horses for five minutes!! It was the best day in Iceland! Thank you!!

It took a while for the tour to get on the way but once we picked up everyone we were fortunate enough to get a great view at our first stop. The guide was knowledgeable about the lights and we had hot chocolate at the end, which was appreciated since it was very cold.

The tour was great The guide found us a great spot very soon! Took a lot of good aurora photos !! The only thing to complain is The whole group sat in the bus waiting for another one hour for two people that just couldn’t take a “good” photo of aurora Despite aurora did appear many times that night We got back at hotel Almost 3am It was rly late...

It was a great experience. As instructed, we called ahead to confirm the tour was happening. We got picked up at our hotel as scheduled. Our group was combined with the 'Deluxe' group in a bus, so the bus was at full capacity. The tour guide was wonderful. He was friendly and patient. A group of American tourists were quite rude, but the tour guide remained friendly and patient with them. We were very lucky we saw the northern lights. We've spent ample time in that spot to enjoy the great sights. The tour guide again was wonderful, pointing to us where the lights were forming, patiently taking photos for those who asked, and blended in with the tour very well. We were even given fleece blankets to keep warm. How thoughtful! We were then taken to a different spot where we were offered steaming hot cocoa and Icelandic twisted donuts. We continued enjoying the fresh outdoor air and admiring the starry sky. There was only one picnic table but most people didn't mind standing around in complete darkness sipping hot cocoa.

I had a great experience with this tour. We ended the night having to go to two other locations before finally seeing the northern lights in the third location. The tour guide really helped the experience by allowing us plenty of time to see and photo the northern lights for over an hour even though it was very late. The guide also offered a lot of great information about the northern lights as well as Iceland in general. Great tour.

Out first tour was cancelled due to cloudy conditions, so we rescheduled for our last night. We had to wait a while for all the other passengers to arrive, meanwhile we could already see the lights over the city. We went out to Kerið crater to view the lights. It was probably not the best viewing spot due to amount of lights in the area and light pollution in the distance, but we saw an amazing show. It just got better as the night went on- until the sky was marbles with swirls of green. It was a spectacular experience! It was great as far as bus tours go, and the donuts were tasty.

The experience was amazing! The guides were great and the location was the perfect one for us to see the lights. At first the lights didn't show up that strong, but suddenly they were crossing over the sky. Fabulous

It was a lovely experience, we stopped at a location in which we had to play the waiting game as the skies began clearing up, about 30 minutes in, we saw a glimpse of the lights! They kept appearing at disappearing but according to our tour guide, these lights weren't considered powerful enough and therefore the tour wasn't a 'sale'. However, on our way back, we were fortunate enough to run into an amazing array of lights in the sky. Definitely an experience!

It was great... When we arrived at the spot we couldn't see much of the lights although it was incredible clear skies... We started heading back when the driver and the guide decided to stop at another location where we could see the lights! An unbelievable experience!

Very good experience with the Northern Lights, what we saw was amazing! Although the guide was pretty good at hunting them, bringing us in a nice place, not too overcrowded, he was really annoying! He was always speaking in the bus's microphone, going on and on without stopping, trying to make jokes that weren't funny and making unprofessional comments on how his nights was far from over because he had to clean-up after dropping us off, asking us to give him a good review because otherwise his boss will "bully" him (probably another one of his unfunny jokes). He also had a gum in his mouth, so was really annoying when he was speaking... But Northern Lights were great so we are still happy we booked this tour!

The guide was fun and entertaining, that was the highlight of our tour. We did not see the Aurora Borealis, but we can't complain about mother nature. I wish the policy on compensation was different. It was the last night in Iceland, so we would have appreciated a full refund instead of a voucher we don't know whether we are going to use or not. If it's your last night in the country or you have other plans for the following nights, be aware of the risks. This issue apart, book the tour, it's well organized and fun.
