Your tour begins in Reykjavík where will be picked up in the morning and taken to Europe's highest outflowing hot spring, the beautiful Deildartunguhver. The flow of this single hot spring is so copious; that it supplies the nearby towns of Borgarnes and Akranes with all of its heating.

Deildartunguhver not only supplies hot water for the two towns but also your next stop, the natural hot baths at Krauma. There, you can relax and experience nature from its core by bathing in the geothermal baths. The hot water is mixed with cold water from Iceland's smallest glacier, Ok, to achieve the perfect bathing temperature.

From there, you'll visit the waterfalls Hraunfossar. These unusual waterfalls are made of thousands of falls that flow out of solidified lava and run as tiny cascades and rapids into the Hvítá River.

A stone's throw away, you'll find another gem, Barnafoss waterfall whose name translates as 'Child’s Waterfall'. Legend has it Barnafoss used to have a natural arch which was destroyed by the mother of two children who fell to their deaths while playing on top of it.

Your final stop before returning to Reykjavík will be the historical Reykholt which was once one of the intellectual centres of Iceland. In the Middle Ages, it was the home of the poet and politician, Snorri Sturluson whose records of Old Norse mythology and language are invaluable to modern scholars.
