The tour company was very helpful and accommodating. Big mention to nice travels bringing us back to our hotel and rescheduling our Snaefellsnes tour for another date when we became too carsick to participate on the original date. Their care and follow up was definitely a highlight, even though we had to miss the rescheduled date in the end. The 3 day tour was full of mist and rain so we didnt get to see auroras or much while in the bus, but our guide/driver managed to get us to all the viewpoints plus some more while there was still daylight. Ice caves were gorgeous, and shout out to Biggi in the ice caves for being an awesome guide and photographer.

The entire 5 day experience was wonderful. My friend and I joined the tour in early February this year. The first three day was spent with our guide Kris. He was very caring, thoughtful and extremely friendly. The glacier hike from my perspective was the highlight of the whole trip. We loved it and took a lot of the pictures. You really have to be there to see them with your own eyes. The second part of the trip was led by our guide Stefan. He was very knowledgeable and very sociable as well. He was talking and trying to share as much information as he could. The hotel we stayed in Snaefellness National Park was amazing. We could see the stars and the sea shores just by looking out through both of the windows. Have it not been cloudy, we would have been able to see the Northern lights! Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour if you are travelling in the winter time.

It's difficult to put into words how amazing this tour was. Our guide and driver during the 3 day south coast portion, Gon, was so kind, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. Despite unpredictable and at times harsh winter weather, we managed to see nearly everything on our itinerary--including hundreds of wild reindeer! We were unable to do the glacier hike due to unsafe conditions atop the glacier. It was disappointing but we appreciated that the tour company put everyone's safety first. We understood going into this trip that the weather could play a major role in what we'd be able to experience. Because of a big storm with gusty winds on day 2, the tour company rearranged our entire itinerary including one of our hotel stays. We were extremely impressed with their quickness, efficiency and attention to our safety in order that we might still get to enjoy so many of the incredible destinations. Our favorite was probably glacier lagoon, diamond bay and the super jeep ice cave excursion, but there were so many breathtaking sites it's hard to choose. We want to especially thank Gon for his superior driving abilities and sweet smile. We saw many car accidents and cars in snow banks, these conditions are simply much too dangerous for tourists unaccustomed to driving in Iceland. We always felt very safe with Gon at the wheel. He always had a friendly smile from early morning to late at night and we loved hearing about the culture and history of the country from a local. Our 1 day Snæfellsnes tour was also quite memorable. We felt as if we were on another planet, the scenery was incredible. Our guide, Mikael, was very fun and knowledgeable. He got us back to Reykjavik just in time to catch our boat tour where we got to see the most magnificent Aurora display! We highly recommend this tour as you'll get to experience so much of what Iceland has to offer in a short time. Thank you for an unbelievable trip in Iceland!!!

This tour was great! 3 day tour that hit all the main stops with all transportation and 2 night stay in 2 different hotels. Felt much more comfortable with an experienced driver taking us around as the roads were crazy and saw multiple car accidents. Tour was in January. All of the locations we went to were so incredible and I highly recommended doing this if you want an already planned tour which helps save money and time. Very pleased with how this tour went and all of the guides were great too.

This was an excellent tour! My travel partner and I did this tour in January, and as this is a combo tour, our experience was split into two parts: first, the 3-day South Coast tour (which included glacier hiking and ice caving), and second, the 2-day Snaefellsnes peninsula tour. Both were standout for their own reasons. Overall, I enjoyed the comfort of the minibuses - our guides were excellent drivers - and appreciated the pacing that both tour guides offered on each tour. On our first tour, our guide, Odin, was very knowledgeable, practical, and improvised well around the limitations of the short 4 hours of daylight we had in the winter season. I appreciated his approach - many times we would stop at different sites, and he would allot the appropriate amount of time for us to explore each place, leaving enough time to absorb the beauty of the terrain and take lots of photos! While he did not actually get out of the bus to guide us around, I appreciated these windows of opportunity to enjoy the scenery alone and not plastered to the group. Our glacier hike and ice caving experiences were also phenomenal, as our guides were amazing and super interactive. For our second part of the experience, we were picked up by a different guide, Ingo (Ingol?) to explore the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Unfortunately, on our first day, the weather was very rough - rainy and high winds - but did this not stop Ingo from being an amazing guide! He had excellent improvisation, and was highly charismatic and eager to show us the beauty of the Peninsula even in the harsh conditions - his energy and passion for Iceland made it so easy for us to trust him and follow his lead. He would get out of the bus and personally guide us through the terrain to find hidden treasures that I certainly would not have known to look for without him. Our hotel accomodations were perfect, the rooms were very clean and beds extremely comfortable, and the food at ALL of the hotels was excellent. Would highly recommend this tour and book again with Guide to Iceland in a heartbeat!

Out of this world! This 2 in 1 bundled trip was incredible. Everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. The guides were absolute experts. Although we could have spent a day (or more at each location) the guides knew exactly how to pace the trip and the stops to maximize the December daylight and to give us a taste of so many different and incredible places. The first tour took us to the South Coast where we saw all the the highlights listed in the description. Seeing reindeer was an extra treat. The hotel in Hofn was a treat, clean and nice with a very good restaurant and a terrific breakfast buffet. The ice cave/glacier walk was truly incredible and an experience I will never forget. Thor our guide drove back to Reykjavik during a sudden rain storm with ease. The second part of the trip to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula with Carl was unbelievably beautiful. We started out early each day with daybreak stops at places that are too beautiful to describe. He took us to a few secret locations too that not many know about. Each stop was more beautiful than the last. Carl entertained us with stories about Iceland and talked about his lovely hometown which we visited on the second day. Our hotel for the night was a lovely family-run guesthouse on the water, a perfect spot for northern lights viewing which we did for 2 hours plus while sipping hotel chocolate courtesy of the guesthouse. Snæfellsnes Peninsula with Carl is a must see.

Iceland provides a plethora of stunning landscapes and unimaginable geographical wonder! Wanting a unique honeymoon location, i can't be happier with my decision. A travelers dream and a photographers heaven, this four day tour is absolutely recommended for first time tourists to get a taste of its magic. In the comfort of a luxury tour bus led by a knowledgable guide, we were taken to a few of the major features of the so called "land of the gods." Covering the golden circle, glacier hiking, ice caves and some stunning waterfalls, the tour is well paced providing each traveler enough time to let it all sink in without wasting any time. The unpredictable weather of Iceland may hinder with the schedule, but our guide would make sure to make the best of clear skies, and keep us safe and warm during a storm. The hotel location at Hofn is absolutely beautiful, and if you're lucky enough to catch the Northern lights, like we were, well trust me it can't get better than that.

Highly recommend this tour. Really worth it. The tour was fun and bus ride was a comfortable one as we were small group. We got waterfalls , beaches , glacier hiking , ice cave , national parks , nothern lights , lava fields, and a lot of beautiful sceneries all in one in this tour :) Our tour guide n driver are super friendly , which made our trip more enjoyable ❤❤❤

We loved the 4 day discount tour. We went on the Snaefellness peninsula tour on Day 1 - the west coast of Iceland is rugged with beautiful coastal scenery, waterfalls and black sand beaches. We started the three day south coast tour on Day 2 and it was absolutely wonderful. Everything which was promised on the tour met our expectations. Hotel accommodation was excellent and we saw the northern lights at Hofn. The glacier hiking is not to be missed. The ice caves were flooded due to rain, so we only saw the outside. The glacier lagoon is simply spectacular. We stopped at appropriate times for lunch and rest room breaks and food was delicious at each of these stops. Communication with Guide to Iceland prior to arriving was very professional and prompt.

Great, stress free way to see Iceland. Comfortable minibus, nice being a small group compared to some of the bigger buses we saw! Good choice of hotels. Great driver, very friendly, good sense of humour, gave lots of information, even managed to fit in some extra places on the route. Office very efficient with all prior information. Definitely recommended.

This was an incredible experience in many ways. First off, both parts of the tour was canceled due to bad weather, since this was initially scheduled for the latter part of January 2018. What happened instead was being able to opt out the first part (South Coast) with two different day tours, and then postpone the second part by a day. I'm really glad I worked with this agency because they were able to re-book certain parts of this tour automatically and without hardly a worry! And, I was promptly given a refund as well. All agents that I worked with were respectful and easy to work with. Instead of doing the first part, 2 day South Coast tour, I ended up doing the Golden Circle/Secret Lagoon one day, and the next was a day tour of the South Coast which ended up as far as Vik. Both tours were lovely and felt quite safe in the hands of the guides I was with. Both day tours proved equally as worth my time as I'm sure the two day South Coast tour would have been. Next, the Snaefellsnes Peninsula was an absolute treat. The tour guide went well out of his way to make everyone comfortable and to show us some pretty incredible sites that was amongst the magical winter wonderland. All tours were wonderful for several reasons. We kept to a reasonable time schedule for all the sites included, we were told stories from Icelandic Lore that really helped bring us more into the Icelandic culture, and were also told a good bit about Iceland and current affairs. This was not just a beautiful excursion, but an educational one. I'm glad I chose to spend my birthday here and booked my travels with this agency. It was worth every bit of money I spent and can't wait to (hopefully) plan another trip for the future. Too incredible for words. Thank you. :)

Every things good except did not know the travel agents. Waiting at the pick up point and need to check with all the tour buses pull in! Hundreds of people walking up and down the road looking for their buses. Second trip saw the driver standing by the van. We both waiting for each other for over 10 mins. He than pull out to another locations to pick up other passengers first then come back. Finally got on the van after 20 mins waiting!
