Air China starts flying from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) to Keflavík International Airport (KEF) on 26 October 2026, three times a week. Both flights stop in Copenhagen, but you stay on the same plane and your bags are checked through to your destination. It's the first scheduled passenger route to Iceland run by a mainland Chinese airline.
| Flight | Days | Route | Departs | Arrives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CA807 | Mon, Thu, Sat | Beijing (PEK) → Copenhagen (CPH) | 03:30 | 06:30 |
| CA807 | Mon, Thu, Sat | Copenhagen (CPH) → Keflavík (KEF) | 08:45 | 11:15 |
| CA808 | Mon, Thu, Sat | Keflavík (KEF) → Copenhagen (CPH) | 13:45 | 17:55 |
| CA808 | Mon, Thu, Sat | Copenhagen (CPH) → Beijing (PEK) | 20:30 | 12:20 next day |
All times are local. The trip takes about 15 hours 45 minutes from Beijing to Iceland and 14 hours 35 minutes back, including a stop of just over two hours in Copenhagen each way.
CA807 leaves Beijing at 03:30, so you'll head to the airport the evening before: on a Sunday, Wednesday or Friday. The route uses an Airbus A330-300 with 30 lie-flat business class seats and 271 economy seats. If you're starting elsewhere in China, you can connect in Beijing on an Air China domestic flight. Note that the flight leaves from Beijing Capital, not Daxing.

This page brings together three groups of trips. The first is our Chinese-guided day tours and multi-day tours. The second is our best-selling vacation packages, self-drive tours and multi-day tours, led by the Amazing 5-Day Northern Lights Winter Vacation Package with ice caving and the Blue Lagoon, our most popular 5-day package. The third is the day tours and airport transfers travellers book most, like the blue ice caves, the Blue Lagoon, the Jökulsárlón boat tours and the Flybus.
You land at 11:15, so you still have most of the afternoon. The Blue Lagoon is about 20 minutes from Keflavík Airport. Book an entry time from 13:30 onwards and take a transfer to Reykjavík afterwards. If you'd rather go straight to your hotel, the Flybus takes about 45 minutes to Reykjavík. From September to April, a Chinese-guided northern lights tour works on the first night if you still have the energy.
Stay in Reykjavík and take Chinese-guided day tours to the Golden Circle, the South Coast or Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Or book a multi-day tour to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. The blue ice caves in Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier, only open in winter, roughly from November to March. The Katla ice cave near Vík is open all year.
CA808 leaves at 13:45. Plan to reach Keflavík at least two and a half hours before, and book the Flybus from Reykjavík in advance. Don't plan any tours on departure day.
