Youth Symphony Orchestra

Yesterday evening we had a concert in the church of Reykholt. Performing were the Youth Symphony Orchestra from Reykjavik the university choir and young violinist Geirþrúður Ása Guðjónsdóttir.  All performers in the orchestra are aged 13 to 25 years old.

It was really amazing when young Geirþrúður played Felix Mendelssohns violin concert in E moll op 64, this girl has the future in front of her, and we look forward seeing and hearing her again in Reykholt in the years to come :)

Watch the impressive performance of the Youth orchestra of the university choir.
