Hotel Edda Egilsstadir is located in the welcoming town of Egilsstadir, which is affectionately referred to as the "Capital of the East" by Icelanders due to its status as the biggest city in East Iceland. The warmer climate is part of the welcome because its location near Iceland’s largest forest protects the town from any chilly winds coming from the ocean.
