It was an amazing experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and skilled. Our group was 2 adults and 3 kids, ages 10-15. Everyone was able to handle the climb and conditions. Unfortunately, one of the kids accidentally dropped his pick ax down a crevice and it couldn't safely be retrieved. We felt terrible about losing it, but our guide was very understanding. We highly recommend this tour for anyone. Our only regret was not getting to climb just a little higher or stay a little bit longer. But again that a testament to our guide who wanted to keep us safe and got us back while the weather was still good.
My son and I did this trip on a beautiful, clear night at the end of September - oh so worth it..........we had enjoyed fantastic weather all week and were praying hard to the gods of Northern Lights!! They did not disappoint.
The results were absolutely amazing.
No need to worry about getting your camera settings sorted - our guide Ási, is also a professional photographer and we just kicked back; drank hot chocolate and watched the sky!!. Ási took as many photos as we wanted, which were uploaded by next morning.

We had the most AMAZING tour! Awesome guide awesome experience....at 1st I thought it was a lot of money for 3 of us, but we got an experience that we will NEVER forget. Thank you Binni ❤️
This was an absolutely fantastic tour! Our guide, Gunnar, not only catered the tour to what we were looking for, but also gave us great recommendations for the rest of our stay in Iceland, allowing us to see a few great things that we certainly wouldnt have otherwise. He was knowledgeable, friendly and overall a pleasure to tour with.
