Gravel Travel

Trip was great. The driver was very skilled on the roads specially when driving in the snow. I just wish he spoke a little more about the towns and villages we drove by and to orovide us with more information on the sites visited. He answered a question if asked and was quiet most of the time. He was more of a driver than a tour guide.

This tour was absolutely fantastic, with many thoughtful extras that showcased the beauty of the region. Valthor’s early morning suggestion allowed us to beat the crowds and enjoy destinations before the arrival of larger tour groups. This is a perfect experience for nature lovers, highlighted by breathtaking waterfalls that seemed to get more spectacular with each stop. Valthor shared a wealth of historical insights, deepening our understanding and appreciation of this incredible area. Thank you for an unforgettable and fun-filled adventure!

Well informed and very interesting.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Valthor made this the most amazing vacation! We now want to come back in the summer as well! He know all of Iceland's hidden gems as well as when to swoop in to the more public ones with fewer busses to navigate! He has a very artistic eye and was able to tell us when and where to photograph or drone and what we could expect. He was very punctual yet very gracious and accommodating when the young adults in our family were not! A perfect vacation leaving us wanting more!
