Hands down one of THE BEST trips I've ever been on! The Guide to Iceland team was incredible--patient, thoughtful, and wonderful from booking to experiencing the trip. With trips like these there is some patience required and a "roll with the punches" type approach as sometimes, things just happen beyond our control and we still have to make the most of it. For example, the ferry to Flatey Island (Brjánslækur - Flatey - Stykkishólmur ferry) was cancelled due to needs from the Icelandic Road Administration. While this was unfortunate, the Guide to Iceland team notified me of this over a week before my trip even began. which gave me quite a bit of time to readjust travel plans accordingly--not a huge deal, just a longer drive around. For one of the walking tours I had booked, I had a new tour guide booked for the experience. Again, the Guide to Iceland team notified me 2 business days ahead of the tour. Given that this team most likely is working with other agencies for scheduling, there as a bit of a mix up with the meeting location and time for the tour with the new guide. Luckily, I was still able to make the tour but I really appreciate the Team working quickly to make sure I was with the guide to still go on the tour. Great accommodations, beautiful sights, and a wonderful experience. I absolutely would recommend their services to friends and family. This was excellent!
