Oseyri Farmhouse enjoys a quiet and tranquil location on the coast in the east of Iceland. This location means that you get fantastic views of the coastline, sea, and mountains that surround the house.

As well as this, the area has very little light pollution. This means that you have a good chance of seeing the northern lights – something that everyone wants to tick off their Iceland bucket list.

The nearest village to the house is Stodvarfjordur. This small coastal village sits on the northern side of a fjord with the same name. It has a population of just 200 people. There are lots of opportunities for fishing and hiking in and around the village.

Oseyri Farmhouse is a self-catering holiday home with four bedrooms. Each bedroom sleeps two people in two single beds and the house sleeps eight people altogether. This farmhouse is great for larger families or groups of friends traveling together.

Inside, the farmhouse has a fully-equipped self-catering kitchen which includes a dishwasher and an oven. Here you have everything you need to cook and prepare your own meals which is useful if you’re traveling on a budget.
