This is quite a long tour because Vic - the eastern extremity - is a good distance from Reykjavik. The south coast landscape is quite flat and agricultural (for Iceland) with the mountainous hinterland mostly visible. The weather was quite good for most part, but less so at Vic and at the black volcanic beach. There are numerous waterfalls along the way, stopping at Skogafoss on the way out. Sólheimajökull glacier was an amazing sight but you don't get that close to it because it has receded beyond the viewpoint and I guess both time and risk prevented us walking all the way over rough ground. Our guide, Stefan, had a certain style and even sang a folk song to us. He explained that Seljalandsfoss would be a visit on the return leg because we might get wet if we go behind the waterfall. I did anyway! Everything amazing.
