Kiki is a queer club in Reykjavik city center and a celebrated venue for the LGBTQIA+ community. Kiki has established itself as a true cornerstone of the queer community in Iceland and a staple in Reykjavik’s nightlife with its upbeat, colorful, and welcoming environment.
Open weekly from Thursday night to Sunday morning, it is home to burlesque shows, theme parties, drag shows, and DJ sets that will have you dancing all night! As Iceland’s only dedicated queer club, Kiki has been a consistent attraction for queer locals and visitors since it officially opened in 2013.
Kiki is located on Laugavegur Street and is the sister club to 22 Bar, another queer-friendly bar on the bottom floor, which offers a more relaxed ambiance. 22 Bar is the perfect stop for catching up with friends for a drink or a light snack before heading upstairs to continue the night at Kiki’s!
The house the bars are located in has been a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community for decades, and both venues offer a warm and inclusive atmosphere for all visitors- queer or straight.
