I got a Hyundai in the same category. Given the fuel pice and 90 kmh top speed restriction, it is the best choice for me to circle the Island.

Blue Car was fantastic. I had an issue when I checked in because of something odd on your booking site. I specifically wanted to pick up the car in the city and drop off at Keflavik Airport. When I entered that on your site all looked correct, until check out - the responses flipped and just before I entered my credit card number, I noticed the booking said "pick up at Keflavik" and "drop off at city location." I panicked and cancelled the transaction, started over and reversed my entries, and at check out my preferences looked correct. I printed my receipt showing pick up in the city and drop off at the airport. When I arrived at the city location to pick up the vehicle, they didn't have my reservation. Luckily they had a vehicle for me - a slightly more expensive upgrade - but I took it and was grateful the rest of our trip could happen. PLEASE look at that for future bookers. And a warm shout out to Blue Car for graciously handling it and getting me a car. I'm grateful.

The rental experience was top notch. The customer service was excellent; the folks working there were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The entire experience was great.
