16. Jak dostanę się na wulkan?

To zależy o jakim wulkanie myślisz.

ABSOLUTNIE POLECAM

The tour was excellent! Our guide (Sölvi) was a gentle guy with rich knowledge of Icelandic history and culture. He carefully picked tons of Icelandic music during our drive. The scenery is great as long as it's not raining, which is something you can't expect in Iceland. Highly recommend this tour if you want to know more about Iceland.

Mystery Super Jeep Tour | South Coast or the Highlands

The best Snowmobiling experience of my life! The Midgard people were so kind and fun to hang out with. I've been on many snowmobiling tours in Iceland and this was by far the best one! I could not be happier with my Midgard experience, the hot tub on the roof was amazing with the northern lights. Food was amazing and the sleeping area was cosy. The family feel of Midgard really shines through and they make you feel like part of the family.

We booked this last minute, but it came as a great surprise ! We're afraid that we'd be left unattended due to the late action, but our guide Magga came to the pickup point soon. She is a great guide, she made everyone feel comfortable while she took us to the scenic spots of the Snaefellsnes Island. The day (even with the sudden snow) was great and I would highly recommend this trip. If you happen to have Mag as your guide, you will enjoy the folk stories! Don't forget to take a camera.

8 Day Winter Wonderland | National Parks & Ice Cave

This was a great trip, Francisco at Guide to Iceland was a great help and answered a whole bunch of random questions from us over the course of planning our trip. All of the tours and accommodations went nice and smoothly. We went with the mid-range hotel options and were placed in the Hotel Klettur in Reykjavik which was an awesome location. It was just a 2 or 3 block walk down to the main shopping/dining street and all of the tour buses picked us up right in front of the hotel (as opposed to meeting at a bus stop like it seemed some of the other hotels had to do). Our kids had really pushed for the high-end hotel option, but I think we picked the right one - we didn't fly to Iceland to have a fancy hotel experience after all. We went on 2 over night trips with Troll Expeditions. The buses were nice, though the "south coast tour" involved a lot more time sitting in the bus than I expected (we were driving through a nasty storm both days) but was worth it. I think the only mistake we made was opting for the northern lights by boat trip. We had figured that a boat would have more freedom to move around and find clear skies, but we basically motored out of the harbor and then made a couple of big circles in the same place for a while, all the time socked in by clouds. I think we'll try a mini-bus northern lights tour on our next visit, other travelers generally gave them more positive reviews.

Day 2 driving from Reykjavik to Stykissholmur was interesting as the snow conditions were quite poor and as tourists this was something we were not used to - but we got through it! The Northern Peninsula scenery was stunning, the visit to the Lava Cave memorable, the blue lagoon relaxing , the hotels and restaurants we used were very good and Reykjavik was very interesting. Make use of the weather apps and have a plan for what you want to do. We did and it helped enormously.

This was one of my best Tours I had in Iceland. Our Guide Maria from Troll Expedition is totally in love with her own country and you feel that!! We had so much fun with her she showed us special places and gave us always enough time for everyone’s wishes! On the way back we had a snow storm and we felt totally save with her. I can really recommend this tour with Troll expedition and Maria!!

We chose this company based on a really great tour with them earlier in the week and we had another great trip. We had heard there was a lot of driving on this tour but the drive time between stops while actually out on the snaefellsnes peninsula is actually quite short. SO many great stops and opportunities to explore, and the guide, who was previously a commercial fisherman, had lots of good information about the area and the sites we were seeing. He did not make corny jokes and fill the day with useless trivia, instead he gave brief and useful information in a very genuine and engaging way. We enjoyed this part of our trip so much we are already planning on returning and spending time hiking in the area. The pick up at bus stop number 8 was simple and on time, the charging and wifi on the bus were awesome too. We were comfortable all day and felt the guide prioritized safety in the January weather.

8 Day Winter Wonderland | National Parks & Ice Cave

We booked the 8 day tour with Guide to Iceland and everything was fantastic. Our tours went as planned although in one of the 2 day tours with Troll Expeditions our itinerary and our guides was totally different (the guides was better, more interesting things to see). Also the hotel we were supposed to stay at on the other 2 day trip didnn´t end up being the one we stayed in. We were supposed to stay in Hofn Hotel and we ended up in Fosshotel Vatnajökull, which was exceptional. We were picked up at the time we were supposed to and we had adequate time at all the stops. The buses were comfortable but be prepared for very long days where you spend most of the morning till sunrise and sunset driving in darkness. I was helped by Mita in my booking and she answered all of my questions related to everything so we were very happy all in all with the service provided by guide to Iceland. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful 5-day tour which was exactly as described. We were exhausted at the end, but grateful that our guides worked the schedule precisely to allow us to see as much as possible during the precious few hours of daylight. They were dedicated to making sure we knew when and where to view the northern lights, and how to best avoid the crowds at popular sites. I would definitely recommend a tour in the winter, as nasty weather would have left us stranded if we were on our own.

8 Day Winter Wonderland | National Parks & Ice Cave

We had a few ‘hiccups ‘ in this tour .upon arriving , we didn’t know we have to go and look for the Reykjavik excursion bus to blue lagoon. My friend and I thought , like other tour agents in other country , there will be driver looking for us . So we waited at the arrival area and later we sensed that something wasn’t right so we went to the information counter and asked . We just missed the bus by 3 minutes! The next bus will be in 1.5 hours so we serviced to take a cab to blue lagoon which costs usd100 for 20 mins drive ! Our evening programmer hat very same day was northern light hunting . The driver cum guide is a very responsible guide. He makes us we get to see the best . Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too good , it was cold and wet . We still managed to catch some beautiful lights though not very clear . Personally , we think the northern light hunt tour was too long . From 830pm -1am . We were extremely tired and we have a 8am tour the next morning . Given our jet lag (we flew from Kuala Lumpur) , it was really tough for us . Horse racing Fong tour and golden circle were amazing but rush . We were only given less than 30 mins to have our lunch after horse riding , before another driver sent us to join the golden circle tour. Scenery were fantastic though . Our 2 day south coast tour was amazing and the best of all . The driver Julius is such a helpful, friendly and humurous guide and a good driver. He took very good care of 12 of us . The scenery were out of the world ! Glacier walking, glacier lagoon, black sand beach , diamond beach are all our favourite places ! We had such wonderful time . The 2 day snaefellnes tour wasn’t too smooth at the beginning . We were being slotted into a different tour operator last minute . The is quite a delay in the tour due to the engine of the bus . The driver cum guide is a nice man but he didn’t speak loud and clear enough that those of us sitting at the back couldn’t really hear him , despite a few reminders . The guesthouse we stayed (rjukandi guesthouse I think) is cold. I went to tell the reception and she told me the floor heating was on but we can’t feel in . We have to sleep in our jacket. It was snowing heavily that night and we were both freezing . Breakfast was simple , nothing like the other hotels we stayed . On our last day , we were told to be at bus stop by 8am . We were there since 750am and waited and waited . We were so cautious to make sure we won’t miss the bus this time. Many buses from different tour operator came to pick up customers , but we didn’t see any Reykjavik excursion buses that goes to the airport. (2 Reykjavik excursion buses passed by but didn’t stop) we waited till 850 am and start getting panic as our flight is 1130am . So when a same tour operator bus cane (not going to airport) we asked the driver and she said she will send us to the bus terminal . From there we take a bus to the airport and just managed to check in on time !!!!! Our overall experience in Iceland was great. Scenery and people are amazing and we love it . The only downside is the transport arrangement . It was confusing that we are with different tour operator every day and we had to look for our buses every morning . Despite being very careful , we still miss the bus to the airport ! Iceland is truly a must visit country for everyone . We went home with so many unforgettable memories !
