The guide was a rock star. Incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, the tour would've been fun even without getting to see the northern lights due to his stories and facts. So it follows that getting the light show that we did made the trip an extra special time. We used the techniques, the tips and especially the camera settings shown on the tour for the rest of our trip. We're so glad we did this tour at the beginning of our vacation since it really did enrich the rest of the time we spent in Iceland.

This tour was made even more special by our guide, Tristi. He was jovial, informative, and interesting. Additionally, he was quite good at stressing the importance of returning to the bus on time without being offensive and not one person was late! The sign of a true leader, in my estimation! Iceland should be on everyone's bucket list. The landscape and geothermal areas are so humbling. Iceland has captured the best of what our earth has to offer and is an example of using the gifts of the earth in a sustainable way. Godafoss is beautiful, like a miniature Niagara Falls, but in a natural landscape that makes it even more amazing.
