Secret Solstice Festival

Secret Solstice is an Icelandic music festival held in Reykjavík, to be more specifically in Laugardalur. The festival is being held for the first time and it is on the 20th-22nd of June 2014. There are over a hundred artist playing so I am pretty sure everyone can find something that they will like. The artists are both local and international from a various array of genres. You can find all the information's about the festival on the website. Sónar 2014

Þetta var geðveikt (This was awesome). This was definitely one of my favourite weekends EVER. If you are thinking about going to Sónar next year, than I say why THINK about doing something you can DO? The days were all different, but still all really fun. My favourite day was Friday and my favourite performance was Major Lazer. This was my first time going to Sónar and definitely not my last. Thursday On Thursday I saw HE, Flog, GusGus, Tonik and Introbeats. There were a lot of people on the Gusgus concerts and what I heard was that they were great but I for some reason wasn't there.

The Winter Lights Festival - Vetrarhátið 2014

Winter Lights festival is held on 6- 15 February 2014. There will be a lot of sparkling events. ''The main objective of the festival is to illuminate the dramatic darkness of winter with a collection of sparkling events, which both celebrate and emphasize the beauty of Reykjavík City.'' Sónar Reykjavík 2014 - music festival

Sónar is a music festival in Reykjavík. It is going to be in Harpa, the Reykjavík music hall, 13th to 15th February. The bands that I want the most to see are: GusGus Fm Belfast Hjaltalín Vök But of course I would really love to see all of the other artist too.
