I did the buggy tour on the black sand beach in Vik. This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Andre was very informative and professional.

Weather conditions meant that one hour to the glacier turned into two. Despite a bit of car sickness, the trip was well worth it.

The ice cave was smaller than on the picture. The ride out to the ice cave was definitely interesting because it requires a super jeep to drive through ice and snow and very bumpy road.

This ice cave tour far exceeded our expectations. What an amazing journey to the Katla ice cave. Our guide, Hjölli, gathered us up and loaded us onto the vehicle to take us to what felt like the middle of nowhere. Our trip was late because of slushy conditions to the glacier and once we got rolling, I could understand why. The ride was wild, bumpy, exciting, and long. Hjölli got us to the hiking location, and we headed up as a group of 8 to the ice cave. I still can't believe what we experienced. The photos do not do it justice. Hjölli was informative and gave us a great deal of information. He was very kind and funny and a wonderful tour guide. I highly recommend this tour.
