This trip is for those who want to see the entire island and experience the magic of Iceland in a way that would be difficult to do on your own. Our guide, Stefan Mar ( for 6 days the Oskar Petursson for 2) were excellent, local, guides who were both professional and personable. If I was asked tips for enjoying the trip: if you can only pack 1 set of footwear it would be light to medium weight waterproof hiking boots. Second learn to layer up for the weather. The guides typically have a t shirt, heavier poly type shirt, sweater, and several shells: rain, thin down or other insulating jacket the rain and/or wind shell jacket can fit over. Weather during late winter when we travelled never got super cold but varied from light rain to sun to overcast and lots of wind, to light snow and occasional heavier snow with wind, and everything in between. Lastly, food here is expensive by home USA standards, so be prepared, portions are generally very good for the price. Grocery market options and most hotels give you the option of cooking in if you so choose to save a bit.

今まで世界中で参加したツアーの中で1番良いツアーでした！！ オーロラは悪天候でみることができませんでしたが、それ以上のものが得られると思います。 私のガイドはステファンさんで、アイスランド出身の方でした。もうなんといっても、人間性が本当に素晴らしくて面白くて楽しくて、自身がツアーを心から楽しまれていてとにかく本当に楽しかったです！夜はツアーメンバー（10名くらい）全員で食を囲んだり、本当にメンバー全員が仲良くバスの中でもふざけたり、ツアーを終えても連絡しあったりと一生の思い出です！！ また自身の小さい頃の話や、生活についても良く話して貰ったのでアイスランドの文化や人となりを凄く理解できました。 地元ならではのオススメスポットによってもらったり、お値段は決して安くありませんがその値段を無駄にしないよう全力でサポートして、充実したものにしようと努力してくれますし、実際値段には変えられない経験ができました✨ ※私の英語力は中級程度ですが、全く話せない外国の方も参加されていました。年齢もバラバラで70歳くらいの人までは楽しめると思います！ ※道などに雪はなくそんなに寒くなかったです！ハイキングはシューズ借りるべきですが、その他の観光は運動靴で大丈夫でした👍 ※ご飯も私にとっては美味しかったです！
