I recently rented a Dacia Duster from Blue Car Rental through Guide to Iceland, and overall, I had a great experience. Initially, I was a bit confused because I only received a voucher and wasn’t sure where or how to use it. I would suggest checking the pick-up point of the rental company in advance to avoid any confusion. Fortunately, Blue Car Rental is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Keflavik Airport. The staff at the office were very helpful and provided all the necessary information, making the pick-up process quick and easy. The car itself was in good condition, with only a few minor bumps and scratches, but nothing significant. The fuel tank was full, which was great. I strongly recommend opting for full insurance, as road conditions can be unpredictable. During my trip in August, I drove around 1,000 km without any issues. The fuel consumption was decent, and I was pleasantly surprised by how economical the car was. It was also a nice touch that they provided a chip for a small discount on fuel. The drop-off procedure was also quick and hassle-free. Overall, I would highly recommend Blue Car Rental for their reliable service and convenient location.
