This week in Snorrastofa will be filled with exciting events.  On 25.th November at 20:30 hours, there wil be a lecture in our liberary by writer and journalist Magnus Thor Hafsteinsson .  The lecture is about ship convoys between Hvalfjördur and Northwest Russia in the Second World War during the summer of 1941.  This is the story of sacrifice, incredible heroic deeds and great suffering. These voyages had broad political and military influence,  where powerful men of the world turned their attention to the West and Hvalfjördur.  The lecture is free of charge, coffie will be avaliable in the break for 500 iskr.

Saturday the 29.th of November the gift shop in Snorrastofa ( entrance under the church tower!) will be open from 18 hours and until 22:30 hours.  We proudly present a range of jewelery and fine offers from www.sign.is  .  Sign's staff visiting and  presenting the perfect Christmas present!   So guy's, this is the night to get the perfect present for someone  special :)

At 20:30  hours the female choir " Freyjurnar" will give a concert with the handsome charming icelandic tenor Gissur Páll Gissurarson.  This will be an afternoon and evening worth visiting Reykholt, not to forget our neighbor the Fosshotel  is open if you are looking for a good place to dine before the concert.
