Zugegeben ist die Ringstraße im Teil hinter Borgarnes zunächst mal für den landschaftsverwöhnten Touristen etwas langweilig: keine spektakulären Wasserfälle wie an der Südküste, keine Gletscher an der Seite, keine Küstenlinie zu sehen.
