Probably the best part of our time in Iceland. Really recommend. Our host, Inga, was fab - so interesting and knowledgable.

Our guide, Bjorn, was superb. Best tour I’ve been on. Personal, informative, interesting and relevant. If possible, I would however increase the duration of the tour because now it felt very rushed, eg 20 minutes only at Kerid crater. Eg 12h tour rather than 8h would be perfect, being back in town around 8-9pm and still having time to go out for dinner.

My family immensely enjoyed this tour. The minibus is a much-preferred way to experience this over a large bus. We chose this one over the other minibus tours because it included the tomato lunch. Unfortunately, our lunch was pushed back to 3 pm, which was quite late - we were very hungry at this point, so maybe bring a snack with you in case this happens (you do have a chance to buy ice cream earlier on the tour). It is very hard to get reservations to eat at the tomato farm, so having a tour that includes this is helpful. Our tour guide was informative and funny.

Fantastic tour with an amazingly knowledgeable guide (Oscar) who took us to a series of wonderful sights, eg volcano rims, geysers, and a wonderfully delicious lunch at the greenhouse tomato farm. Oscar was great with our timing and also accompanied us when we had a stop to view and explore. Highly recommended and the best of all our tours in Iceland and better than the ship’s tours.
