North Sailing

This tour was the highlight of our 16 day trip to Iceland. Weather cooperated, the guides were informative and really were a lot of fun. We saw many puffins and other sea birds, and then went in search of whales. At first location we saw 3 humpback whales together, which we were told was unusual. As we moved from spot to spot we were successful at seeing more humpbacks. It was fantastic! No breaches but did get the tail flip mainly times as they dove to feed. We would highly recommend this tour with North Sailing!

Our family had to struggle with motion sickness but it was worth saling to watch whales. The experience was something unforgettable. We are sorry to crews that we had to lie down on the deck and also grateful to them for looking out for us. However, my ears were all open to hear all the wonderful stories about whales. My little one also heard all the explanation, which will be souvenirs to her friends once we go back home. I think people should take part in this kind of ecotour more. This educational tour is even more special in terms of higher awareness about the environment. Thank you all for your efforts for the better.

We booked the whale watching and puffin tour going out of Husavik, two days before the tour they messaged us to say the puffins had started to migrate early and we could not do that portion. They offered to let us cancel or take the trip and get a partial refund. The crew was friendly and very knowledgeable, weather was perfect and we saw three whales.
