Bus service was on time and provided great communication. Would definitely recommend as a stress free, economical choice for transport from airport to city.

No fuss, no muss. Shuttle arrived on-time to take us to the bus terminal, then bus to the airport left maybe 10 minutes later. Dropoff at the airport (KEF) was maybe 100 feet from the doors to the check-in area within the airport.

What an amazing adventures and experience using Guide to Iceland tours. First and foremost their communications and support through the trip was 2nd to none. All emails were promptly responded to and when I had an issues with my bus transfer link they were a call away. They easily found my correspondence and changed the time of my transfer. This is what you want in any trip to have those unexpected issues quickly resolved. They made the initial bus transfer process from the KEF to our hotel in Reykjavik a breeze.Can’t say enough about this aspect of the trip. The stay at the Reykjavik fosshotel was lovely with an easy check in process. Now to the photo trip. I am a professional photographer myself but never being to Iceland I decided on looking for a tour. This trip was all I could ask for and more. I was a bit concerned to start as our group was 11 other photographers (Iceland tours got me in last minute). This was quickly put at ease with our smiling leaders Jon (who lives in Iceland) and Dani (from Spain), Our initial night meet and greet dinner was very nice and gave everyone a chance to get to know one another. Transport to all of our locations was via a rented a large shuttle bus with a trailer to carry our luggage so plenty of space for everyone. The bus was also very comfortable. Locations filled our entire day and our crew made adjustment depending on the weather conditions which can change quite a lot. Our guides were very helpful with everyone on camera settings for each location as well as assisted in composition to get the most of the opportunity. Several people also brought drones and provided direction on these as well. Our highlight was to see the Northern lights for 3 hours. This day was not originally planned as we were headed west back to Reykjavik and had to backtrack our last day. It became an amazing experience to say the least. All in all in my opinion you can’t go wrong selection guide to Iceland tours. My captured images and new friendships says it all. They are also much cheaper than many of the other independent photo companies. Just do it. You won’t be sorry.

The tour is operated by Rekjavik Excursions and they had 5 coaches. The tour guide was fantastic. It was super cloudy but we managed to somehow see the spectacular dance. Bear in mind if Reykjavik is cloudy the guides try their best to take you to a spot, but it's nearby Reykjavik. This also means there's increased chance of the cloud cover taking over the place that you're in. Overall it's definitely worth it since it saves the trouble of chasing the northern lights on your own.
