The weather was not cooperating during my visit to Iceland but Guide to Iceland representatives were there every day assisting with multiple rescheduling requests to ensure I was able to enjoy my Northern Lights tour. The staff were incredibly responsive and helpful. Finally on the third try, and my final night in Iceland, the tour was ON!! I was picked up for my tour at a convenient location and we were off! The tour guide from David the Guide was Christian, a fascinating and incredibly knowledgeable man whose passion for the aurora was clear. He explained the science behind the Northern Lights and even shared an app he created to help predict aurora activity. While there wasn't any activity on that night and we didn't get to see the Northern Lights, the trip was still fun and the hot chocolate and cookies were delicious! I highly recommend Guide to Iceland and David the Guide for a Northern Lights tour. I can't wait to go back!
