This was a major highlight of our trip if not the biggest highlight! The original day we had booked was super windy and our tour got cancelled but luckily having been well informed when booking our tours I left a day open in case this happened so we were able to switch days and still do this. The bus was comfortable. We packed lots of layers! The national park was beautiful and we got to walk through rifts, cool geography and history. The geysers were cool to see, and this was also the stop where you have the opportunity for lunch in the restaurants and maybe a little shopping time. Then the waterfalls - WOW! This was also where they pick up to start the snowmobiling pick up. The snowmobiling on a glacier was so cool!! You do follow the leader in one long line with guides spaced throughout. A few times people rolled off their mobile but everyone was okay. The wind on your face is rough but it's so gorgeous! Make sure you have lots of layers, even though they'll have you put a jumpsuit on over everything. Bring good winter gloves, or they have some. They also have cameras you can ask for to attach to your helmet so you can film the ride, and you pay for the video later ($30usd). It was two of us and they recommended we both take cameras in case one goes off - and thankful for that because my husband's kept turning off but mine got it all.
