This seven-day tour consists of several day tours, and I would like to wholeheartedly praise the 2-Day South Coast Tour with Jokulsarlon and Glacier Hike organized by Nice Travel. Our guide, Christophe (I hope I spelled his name correctly), was funny and humorous. He not only provided background information and interesting facts about Iceland but also shared some entertaining personal stories. The drive was relaxing and enjoyable, and most importantly, he was attentive and caring toward the guests. Each time we got on the bus, he clearly explained how long the ride would take, when we could use the bathroom, and when it would be lunchtime, providing guests with a clear understanding of their schedule and plans.. While these may seem like small details, after participating in multiple day tours, you come to realize how important they are, as many guides tend to overlook this kind of information. Additionally, he arranged for us to enjoy a delicious lunch at a lovely spot, reserving enough tables for us to dine comfortably. He also adjusted the itinerary based on the weather and travel time. For instance, knowing that entering Seljalandsfoss would leave us soaking wet, he consulted us before deciding to visit the waterfall last, ensuring we wouldn't be drenched for the rest of the tour. He even took us to some hidden gems that were astonishing and unexpected! I highly recommend him, and if I visit Iceland again, I hope to choose this company and Christophe again. Lastly, I would like to add that the Glacier Hike was not as easy as I had imagined. For someone like me with no hiking experience, it was a bit more challenging than anticipated. However, the views on the way up were worth it, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
