We heard that the car rentals in Iceland would be a bit of a pain, but our MYCAR rental was seamless from beginning to end. A shuttle was waiting for us at the airport arrival area, once we got to their office, it only took a few minutes for us to get the vehicle. The drop off was just as easy with a quick shuttle back to the airport.
This was one of the best car rental experiences I had. The car was pretty much new with only ~15k km. Nice and clean. We were picked up and dropped off from/to the airport promptly. The team was friendly and courteous. Their office in Keflavik had a very nice coffee machine serving delicious beverages.

We were very happy with our rental experience! MyCar was easy to communicate with, and everything went smoothly. Loved having the hotspot. The Picanto was a small car but we were surprised how roomy it felt on the inside, for three people. I can't imagine it would work for now than that, or if you have lots of luggage, but it was great for us. Overall, great experience!
