A trip to some amazing places in a beautiful country. As a solo traveller, I was a little nervous, but everything was well-organised and went smoothly with clear communication throughout, making for an unforgettable experience. Although it packed a lot in there was always plenty of time to take in the stunning scenery and explore a little of the area before moving on. Our guide, David, was enthusiastic and engaging, and really made sure the trip was as good as it could be. There are one or two unavoidable long drives, but they passed in no time at all with his commentary and information on the areas we were travelling through, and when we reached our hotel he had a very efficient system for getting us checked in (which isn't always the case on a group tour!). Not only did he add in a few additional stops along the way, which were well worth a slight detour, but after the tour had concluded he contacted us to let us know the northern lights were visible over Reykjavík that evening. Overall a great tour which I would happily recommend to anyone!
