The historic house these two bars are located in was built in 1905 and has been home to many restaurants and bars through the years; the longest-running was a bar named 22, frequented by the queer community, artists, and bohemians from 1988-2006. The bar opened again in 2024 after an 18-year hiatus to much joy from locals as a perfect fusion of old and new.
