The English Pub is a popular bar for live music and sports in downtown Reykjavik. It is located on Austurstraeti street and has a vintage-style interior reminiscent of classic London pubs, with a large terrace where people can sit outside on a warm day. The pub serves a great selection of locally brewed Icelandic beers and imported classics such as Guinness, Leffe and Hoegaarden.

The atmosphere is usually laid back but can quickly change if there's a big game going on. There are multiple large televisions and screens mounted on walls all over the bar, showing major games from the English Premier League, the Champions League, and other events such as games of the Icelandic national teams or major competitions like the World Cup or UEFA Euro. It is definitely one of the best places to watch a game in Reykjavik while kicking back a few cold ones.

Another feature of the English Pub is the frequent live music performances you can enjoy at this establishment. Troubadours and other talented musicians take the stage every night, getting everybody in the mood with classic singalong tunes that everybody should know.

If you're feeling lucky, you can take a spin on the pub's famous wheel of fortune, where you can win grand prizes such as 1 meter of beer! That's multiple pints of beer stacked next to each other until they reach a meter in length. That's not bad for a night at the bar! If you prefer less risky games, you can shoot darts til your heart's content as well.

The pub is open every day, welcoming guests from noon until 1 AM, but with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays when the bar is open until 4 AM. The happy hour at the English Pub runs from 4 PM to 7 PM, offering a good opportunity to try some of their drinks at a discounted price.
