This was the trip of a lifetime! We drove the full Ring Road over two weeks and saw everything from waterfalls and glaciers to black sand beaches and lava fields. The itinerary was super well-planned, and having the freedom to explore at our own pace made it even better. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to truly experience Iceland!

We just returned from a two-week self-drive tour in Iceland, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, this was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken.

My fiancé and I just returned from the **"Amazing 5-Day Northern Lights Winter Vacation Package in Iceland with Ice Caving & the Blue Lagoon"**, and we can confidently say this trip was absolutely *incredible* from start to finish! **Day 1 – Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights:** The Blue Lagoon was an absolute dream — 5 stars, no question. It's a must-see spot, especially in the winter. So relaxing and such a unique experience! As for the Northern Lights — while it’s a magical idea to plan around them, we’d suggest not making them the *centerpiece* of your trip. You really need the perfect combination of clear skies, the right camera setup, and some luck. Even though we planned around the moon schedule, we mainly saw them through the camera lens, not with the naked eye. Still beautiful, but set your expectations accordingly! **Day 2 – Golden Circle & Snowmobiling:** This day was action-packed and *perfectly* executed. Every stop was timed beautifully, we didn’t feel rushed, and snowmobiling across a glacier was a surreal, 5-star highlight we’ll never forget! **Days 3 & 4 – Southern Iceland & Ice Caves:** Here’s where the trip really became next level — all thanks to our guide **Mika**. He’s hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He skillfully planned our days based on weather and lighting to make sure we hit every site at its most stunning. Ice caving was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Mika made it feel even more special. Bonus: We had another shot at the Northern Lights and got to see them again around 2am! **Day 5 – Departure:** Everything went smoothly. Our airport transfer was on time, and we had no issues making our flight home — a stress-free wrap-up to an amazing trip. If you’re thinking about this package — do it. Even with the unpredictability of winter weather and the elusive Northern Lights, this trip delivered way beyond our expectations.

If you are having any second thoughts of booking through Guide to Iceland, I can vouch and say that as a first time solo traveler they made it so easy! Guide to Iceland made it easy to communicate and made sure I was accommodated for through each day. I didn't have to worry about anything and had one of the best experiences in my life, they made sure everything was set and ready for me at all times and the guides/tours were very open in communicating everything as well as the breakdown of what is going to happen with any changes, I had a pick up location change due to construction happening at the hostel I stayed at but even then they gave me more than enough time to situate arrange myself to do that. I would 100% recommend booking through here and I can't wait to go back and book through here again! :)
