I went out to see a movie last night at 10pm. I went to see the Icelandic film Hrútar - or 'Rams' in English, a very Icelandic film about two old brothers that don't speak to each other and who love their sheep. Today, Iceland's dream to go through to the round of 16 in its first ever World Cup was shattered when Croatia won 2-1. Although the Icelandic nation is disappointed being so close to getting further, the overwhelming feeling is pride! Iceland just played their second game at the World Cup, and lost 2-0 to Nigeria. But we're still hopeful for the next game against Croatia on Tuesday 26th of June! After getting a 1-1 tie with Argentina in Iceland's first game at the world cup, the nation has been hopeful for a win against Nigeria and Croatia.
