This was a fantastic experience! Ragnar met us at the appointed location and we spent 2.5-3 hours riding through some of the most beautiful country we could imagine! He told us all about life there and shared lots of history and folklore about the area. At the end, we met his wife and learned that they also raise Icelandic Horses and give horseback tours for experienced riders. The ride was not easy for me, I am 60 and I do ride some but it was simple for my husband, also 60 and an experienced rider. Ragnar takes good care to make sure you feel comfortable no matter what your level of riding. We rode through trails on ancient lava fields, by farms, and met some cute sheep! We stopped in some ancient ruins and ride through fields of blooming lupine! This was awesome! DO IT!

This was the best tour of our whole trip! Our guides: Ragnar and Mikey were incredible! They took us some of the most beautiful terrain. Most of it private and untracked to tourist! We got to ride all types of different terrain; rocky, soft and bumpy, lava fields, mud, sandy and road! It was a great ride to see the pennisula! They also told us many awesome historical stories about the area and Iceland in general, which only elevated the experience. The bikes we rode were fun to ride! Definitely needed them with the variance in terrain. I'm a small person and they fit me great! Ragnar made sure mine was well adjusted for optimal riding. There was no detail he hadn't taken into consideration. Even offered gloves, helmets, and eyeware! To top it all off my boyfriend confessed to Ragnar beforehand that he wanted to propose in a beautiful spot. And neither of them disappointed! We rode to a gorgeous spot near the base of volcanos and my partner kneeled down and Ragnar caught it all on video! Ragnar really went above and beyond to make this moment amazing. I'll never forget how awesome that was! If you love mountain biking, having fun playing on bikes, and exploring this beautiful country in a very intimate way, this is the best tour for that! I've give 10 stars if I could!

Book this trip right now! With all of the incredible things to do in this fantastic country, this was hands-down our most favorite! Ragnar is a fantastic guide and takes you through areas you wouldn’t otherwise see. And the r-bikes are top-notch and totally fun to ride. They make it incredibly easy to ride up hills or over any terrain. Thank you so very much Ragnar. We had a fantastic time! THIS IS A MUST DO TRIP!
