Stóri-Kambur

This was one of the best days of my life! I feel really lucky I was able to do this tour. It was an amazing way to explore the beautiful area. Whoever planned our route did a great job mapping it through different terrains and viewpoints. I appreciate being able to go even though I'm a beginner rider! & I LOVED my horse Eghosa!

The staff was very friendly, but the tour guide did not talk much on the entire ride other than horse instructions a couple of times. And if you are not riding right beside the guide, you will not hear anything unless they stop. This was disappointing, and instead made the "tour" more of an isolated loop around the area - which was nice. But the guide did not tell "exciting stories, folklore, and trivia about Iceland as you explore around" and the guide did not "share fascinating information about the region's natural history, geology, and cultural significance" as advertised.
