This was a great tour that brought us around the entire country and allowed us to experience many sights. Our tour guide David also brought us to a few extra quick stops that were not on the itinerary, but along the way of our trip which was nice. We had sufficient amount of time at each stop and did not feel rushed. The accommodations were all great--many didn't have their own restaurant so a lot of the nights were grocery store microwave dinners since the hotels weren't very close to the towns, but this was fine since we had a greater chance to see the aurora. Most of the days ended around 5-6pm, so we pretty much had the rest of the day to relax since there usually wasn't much to do near the hotels. Unfortunately our guide unexpectedly had to leave the trip a couple days early, and his replacement did not meet expectations since she was not familiar with the tour route and more unorganized. I think we missed a few stops that are listed on the itinerary because of this. Overall we had a great time on the trip and I would highly recommend a Ring Road tour to anyone visiting Iceland.
