The surroundings have a lot to offer. Only a few minutes' drive and you are in Hvalfjörður, one of Iceland's most attractive fjords. The country's highest waterfall, Glymur, can be found at the bottom of the fjord and it is well worth the trip to see it. Laxárbakki is close to Snæfellsnes, which hosts the Snæfellsjökull glacier, the setting for one of Jules Verne's most famous books, "The journey to the centre of the earth".
A stay at Laxárbakki has much to offer and is sure to be comfortable.
