Experiencia única! Los chicos fueron muy amables y nos explicaron todo el proceso. Después pudimos disfrutar del pan recién horneado (y repetir!) Sin duda una actividad diferente que hacer en Islandia. Muy recomendable!

I saw this experience on Guide to Iceland's TikTok and it made me recall having seen it on a travelogue a couple of years ago, so I booked it for my adult daughters and myself. It was a blustery November morning, though I understand the prior day had been much windier. We really enjoyed our guide's tour of the lakeshore and description of the bread breaking process. One of my daughter's even got to place the "new" bread in the hot spring to bake. I really loved the sweet, moist loaf that we dug up and the Icelandic butter and trout it was served with. I highly recommend this experience!

Our tour guide was great. He had tons of jokes and kept the crowd involved. Then we got to try the bread with Icelandic butter and smoked salmon. It was delicious. This experience was amazing. I recommend it to anyone traveling in thr area.
