Caving in Leiðarendi and snorkeling in Silfra

I started the year of 2015 by going caving in Leiðarendi cave and snorkeling in Silfra. If you are traveling to Iceland in wintertime, this is a fun activity to spend the day doing, the tour in whole being about 7-8 hours. The tour is operated by Arctic Adventures. In summer they go to another cave which is called Gjábakkahellir but in winter time they go to Leiðarendi cave.                                                              The drive from Reykjavík centre to Leiðarendi was about 30 minutes and the cave is situated right outside of Reykjavík in the Blue Mountain's area. When we

Aunque no

Photos of the seaside of Reykjavík

Today it was the Icelandic national day. On that day people go down town to do some fun activities and eat candy or good food. There is music playing outside and concerts outside all over town.  But here are some pictures I took on the seaside of the westside of Reykjavík.

A few photos from a trip to the North of Iceland, Fotos del norte de Islandia

While I have such little time to blog, I wanted to post a few pictures which I took on one of my trips to Dalvík, a small village in the North of Iceland. Dalvík is close to Akureyri.  I went to visit the horse stables in Dalvík because I was curious to know what they'd look like in the North of Iceland, and especially in Dalvík because there they have changed what was once a mink farm, into a horse stable. The following pictures of horses are taken there.

Photos of Gullfoss and Geysir

Here are some photos of Gullfoss and Geysir which I took the other day. They´re part of the Golden Circle, a 300 km route in Iceland. I love it there : )

Long ago since I wrote anything now! But there's plenty to do at school. I can not wait until school ends in May. Well, I decided to tell you a little bit of Dalvik is a small town in northern Iceland. The largest town in Iceland (after the capital, Reykjavik) is called Akureyri. Akureyri is in the north and this is a very Dalvik about Akureyri (30 minute drive or so). Dalvik is a cute little town. People are re good and friendly. There are many beautiful homes in Dalvik and a "fishing village".          His family comes from Dalvik my boyfriend and many of his family still

Hoy f
